Open garden and plant sale, Sat. June 13th, 10am to 4pm

  • Willows End Garden and Nursery 12322 22nd Avenue Northeast Seattle, WA, 98125 United States (map)

Willows End is an inspiration garden and home-based nursery in the Pinehurst neighborhood of Northeast Seattle. Open gardens (which are free) happen several times annually and are a great chance to walk the garden and/or shop for plants. The garden is a densely-planted wildlife-friendly urban oasis. In 2025, gardener-in-chief Christopher started offering plants for sale, all propagated and grown on site. The nursery offers mostly perennials and shrubs, with a few annuals, succulents, and pond plants in the mix. If the open garden time doesn’t work for you, you are welcome to make an appointment to walk the garden and shop at other times.

Please see our current plant list for what’s available in the nursery. We accept cash or card for purchases.

June is an interesting time in the garden, when the initial outburst of spring is past, and heat-loving summer stalwarts are still a month away. Come see what a foliage-first garden looks like in June! (There are still lots of flowers to be found, don’t you worry!) And it’s always a good time to come see how Erin’s living willow structures are growing.

No advance notice needed. Bring a friend and come say hi. We’ll be here 10am to 4pm.

Parking and accessibility

Willows End is the home garden of Erin and Christopher Cox in the Pinehurst neighborhood of Northeast Seattle. We live on an urban cul-de-sac, and there is usually easy parking for eight to ten cars on our street. During events you may have to check adjacent streets for parking.

There is a set of ten concrete steps with a sturdy handrail to get from street level to the garden. Once in the garden, there are gently sloping mulched path alternatives to any additional steps.
